A Student-Led Mission for Financial Inclusion
"The problem is not that students are irresponsible—they simply do not get a safe, guided space to learn how money works."
Growing up as a student in India today means witnessing a historic digital transformation firsthand. From neighbourhood fruit vendors to school canteens, cash has nearly vanished, replaced by instant QR scans and digital transfers. Yet inside our classrooms, while we solve complex equations, practical financial literacy—understanding budgets, resisting impulse spending, and protecting our families from digital fraud—remains unspoken.
UPI-Vidya was founded to bridge this exact divide. Rather than overwhelming students with heavy textbooks or pushing commercial teen shopping apps, UPI-Vidya integrates directly into regular school life for just 15 minutes a day. By turning financial literacy into an interactive, gamified journey from Class 1 through Class 12, we empower every student—regardless of family background—to master money with confidence, discipline, and safety.
