UPI-Vidya is an educational platform that teaches basic financial literacy through short daily sessions, stories, activities and quizzes.
4. Eligibility and account creation
- • Student accounts are created only by a School Administrator. Students cannot register on their own.
- • The School confirms that it has the authority to enrol the student and has obtained the necessary parental consent.
- • Each Student receives a Student ID and a PIN. Each Parent receives a Parent PIN. School Administrators receive a School ID and password.
- • The information provided during enrolment must be accurate and kept up to date.
5. Account security
- • Users must keep their credentials private and must not share them, except that parents may help their child to log in.
- • A user is responsible for activity carried out with their credentials.
- • Repeated incorrect login attempts may temporarily lock an account.
- • Report any suspected unauthorised use to us immediately.
- • Credential reset requests are handled by the School Administrator or by us after verification.
6. Acceptable use
Users agree not to:
- ✕ Log in to an account that does not belong to them, or attempt to guess PINs or passwords
- ✕ Interfere with, overload or attempt to break the security of the Platform

- ✕ Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except as allowed by law
7. Daily time limit and content access
The Platform applies a daily learning limit (currently 15 minutes) and unlocks sessions in order, based on scores. We may change these rules, the order of sessions or the content at any time to improve learning.
8. Content availability
The curriculum covers Classes 1 to 12 and is being released in phases. Some units may be marked “coming soon”. We do not guarantee that all units will be available at any given date, and the features shown on the website may change.
9. Fees
Fees, if any, for school access are agreed separately between UPI-Vidya and the School. Students and Parents are not charged directly through the Platform unless we state this clearly in advance.
10. Platform content & usage
The lessons, stories, graphics, avatars, quizzes, and software provided on the Platform are created for educational and financial literacy training purposes.
11. Privacy
12. Third-party services
The Platform uses third-party services for hosting, authentication, database storage, fonts and icons. We are not responsible for the availability or practices of those services, but we choose them with care.
The website also links to social media such as Instagram, which are governed by their own terms.
13. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Platform available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, free of errors or secure from all threats. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform, with notice to schools where practical.
14. Disclaimer
- • The Platform is for general education only. Learning outcomes are not guaranteed.
- • Scores and progress reports are indicators of participation and understanding in the Platform and are not official academic results.
- • We are not responsible for decisions that anyone makes in real life based on the lessons.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, UPI-Vidya is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Platform. This includes loss of data, caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as internet outages, third-party service failures or security incidents that happen despite reasonable safeguards.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount, if any, paid to us for the service in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
16. Indemnity
Schools and Users agree to be responsible for any claims or losses arising from their breach of these Terms, from misuse of credentials, or from information they provide that is inaccurate or that they had no right to provide.
17. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, in whole or in part, if these Terms are breached, if there is a security risk, or if a school’s agreement ends. A School or a Parent may ask us to close an account at any time.
On termination, data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms. For schools, material changes will be communicated in advance.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Both parties will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. If it cannot be settled, the courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
